Asia needs cleantech solutions—innovative technologies, products, and services that enable more efficient use and management of energy and natural resources. The “Clean Technology Startups Can Solve Climate Change” Startup Space during the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2017 showcased a new generation of successful entrepreneurs and startups from Asia that are willing and able take the risks required to develop the new technologies and business models needed to deploy climate change solutions at scale. They shared their perspectives on clean technologies, the challenges they face, and the roles of governments and development agencies in supporting cleantech entrepreneurship.
The startup space featured the young entrepreneurs of City Hub, CleverHeat Clean Technology Solutions Inc., Ezysolare, Energo Labs, Global Himalayan Expedition, Nature & Future, Power Ally Company, Promethean Energy, S4S Technologies, and SkyEye Analytics Inc.
