Professor Warwick Powell is one of the extremely few scholars from the West, that is capable of telling things as is without detectable bias or preconceived ideological buildup one way or the other. Kudos to Professor Warwick Powell!

Only citizens who are deeply concerned about the state of the nation's economy and those who are assiduously studying for exams watch this. Regarding the others, there are those who think the government accomplishes nothing and those who think it has completed all the work. In this level of awareness, we frequently eagerly ingest news from sources other than reliable ones, including Facebook and WhatsApp.

Many countries have decided to use China's MBridge payment platform as they provide a safer alternative to the swift financial system as they can now trade safely with each other without to worry about getting monitored, banned, sanctioned or worse still having their hard earned money seized by the US which has happened to countries that dare disobey their orders n do not align with their extremely toxic foreign policies.
The supremacy of that evil hegemon is now being seriously challenged

China's demography might be shrinking but it will be compensated by automation and AI, which is expected to make many human jobs redundant. So it is actually a positive factor in reducing the social impact of automation, robotics and AI, at least until China gets its demography right.

    Brilliant Analysis and Interview.
The difference between a Current A/C and Savings acc in inflationary times:
A current account with Fiat currency is melting ice. Only useful and accepted in that country or jurisdiction of influence for commercial trx.
A Savings account holds it's value. Certainly PMs or stable Commodity that can be liquidated or traded and exchanged for something else useful.
Post September and October 2024 only PMs (Precious Metals) will be accepted internationally not melting ice of Fiat Ccy.
So time to get some PMs. I got my savings in Sprotts Pslv ETF physical

There are still those who believe China is collapsing despite Yellin' Yellen and Ursula von der Liar complaining about China's OVERCAPACITY! 😂 Anyway, China is open! Go visit China and see if it looks like its economy is in free fall! China is even giving visa-free entry to Western nations, for the benefit of the brainwashed! Nothing like getting out of totalitarian Western societies and seeing the real world! 😜😂🤣

Delusional Kay Hutchinson is just projectioning! It is EU and NATO that is going into a military industry economy when other consumer product manufacturing has collapsed due to the stupidity of NATO and EU leaders themselves! China, on the contrary, is manufacturing everything for the world! China is known as the Factory of the World for many reasons! The EU is even trying to block Chinese EVs, solar panels and EV batteries! So much for their Green Agenda! What hypocrisy!

It always points at and concludes the cost of energy is the major drive when analyzing cost structure or price competitiveness, and China though already a leader in green technology today, is still evolving constantly in seeking diversification of different green technology whilst improving the efficiency of all the existing technology. It’s even more interesting to hear that country can seek more a)independence in sovereignty to the government, and b)less burdensome to their citizen in their cost of living if embracing green energy. This news is as informative and conducive as no one can expect, and is certainly a path worth exploring for the globe, developed or developing.

Every 73 seconds a new car is made. However, all those robotic arms constantly moving will need maintenance, oiling (or graphite?). So, a group of human mechanics must be available somewhere. Likewise, even if AI is watching the process & can emergency stop if something goes out of sync, a human or team must be able to step in to fix the error. Automation is a huge gift to human intelligence & innovation. Ridding ourselves of repetitive tasks opens endless possibilities for mental & spiritual expansion. The greater extent to which emerging economies in Africa, South/Central America can go directly to efficient, environmentally responsible production, the better. Chinese investments can facilitate this better than any other driver. I'm glad to know that China is the greatest trade partner of more than 100 nations in the world. This is a huge window of opportunity for all.

Wow, just over 6 years ago, the Chinese and the world are so happy to depend on the U.S. systems and equipments, technologies etc.. The U.S. government somehow managed to over turn that perception and needs to “couldn’t wait to get out from under” such systems. It must be some records. Yet they are pounding on their chests and crying Successes. It’s so amazing that they saw these trends as successes. Then they robbed the Russian National reserves…over $300 billions U.S. dollars and approximately $100 billions U.S. dollars of Russian businesses of their assets… a real genius move while threw away any credibility remained they’ve earned over 70 years…

I've been to China twice, to Beijing for business in the 00 Everything was very new. I was trying to sell my database content I gave my business contact in Beijing a copy of the database and password for evaluating the content. One of their staff came to our office in the Philippines for a few weeks training. Some days passed and I suddenly got questions from Chinese students. It turned out that they had published the database to all students and posted the password publicly. They gave out everything for free to anybody. And that was the end of my Chinese business adventure.
