Haven Village is a community in East Tennessee built around teaching their members how to build hemp homes and structures. They’ve set up multiple permaculture and off grid systems for their homestead with gardens, goats, chickens, solar systems and a whole lot more.

I’m 52 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with above $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify my portfolio.

A quarter of the way through the video but how do they fund this? Especially the beginning?

Highlights of video entail Hemp Building being a non-structual, ideal insulation (wish formulas and hemp processing visuals were shared), the importance of establishing local relationships to aid in delegated expert implementations, and the ability to create an intentional community to reclaim sovereignty lost by unintentionally subscribing to your government's system.

This last piece felt a bit rushed with so much importance around it but Stephen's raw milk arrangement was a great example that was shared too.

Thanks as usual Steven for your content. Don't take this the wrong way but you're an excellent garbage filter in this age of saturation. I can be assured of quality and useful information coming from you. Please never change!

WOW !!! What a great video !!! So inspiring. Incredible what these industrious folks have accomplished in one year! I've always considered Tennessee to be a very special place, but now, with these people joining us here, it is even better. I love the concept for their community. Hemp and bamboo are the two most useful plants on Earth. I want a hempcrete earthship. Maybe a bamboo framework wrapped in hempcrete? 200 and something acres, eh? Plenty of room for a bamboo grove or two or three. I wish you guys the best of luck in your endeavors.

Just saw this quote the other day and this video brought it to mind:
“People may spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success only to find, once they reach the top, that the ladder is leaning against the wrong tree”
    Thomas Merton

Sometimes as we are half way up the climb, we recognize we have the wrong tree, and it seems only the very courageous ones, do what it takes to course correct, and move the ladder.
    This story is inspiring!
I am on 3 acres with chickens, goats and big gardens and know what it takes time and energy wise, and these folks are blowing my mind!!

Hemp buildings are the best. Fireproof, sound dampening, insulated, highly anti microbial, breathable. And way quicker to grow than trees. I made an awesome year around green house using hempcrete in central oregon and I love it. Survived 5 degree Fahrenheit winter in january with 1 small heater. Plan on using solar/ sand battery in the future. Should stay stable at near zero cost.
