The IPCC has sounded their alarm bells on climate change one last time; it is dangerously close to spiralling out of control. To avoid climate catastrophe, scientists have said that we need to cut global carbon emissions by 45% by 2030.

With the UN’s Glasgow climate conference (COP 26) starting on Monday (1st November), will this finally be the hour that all countries come together to fight climate change?

Well, they will absolutely need to because the UN’s latest analysis reveals that global carbon emissions will actually increase by 16% by 2030. So, what can we do as individuals to change this?

The first step is to show our governments that we care about climate change and that their success depends on mitigating it. But, how do we know that they are tackling all climate change-related issues highlighted by the IPCC?

This is where we come in. Our research team has read the entire IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (2021) on Climate Change and summarised it into an easy to understand explainer video, which is split into three sections:

1.) We’ll first briefly go over the facts in the report that are commonly known.
2.) Then we’ll look at everything the report covers that most people might not know about.
3.) Finally, we’ll examine what could be done given this new information.
