NEW DELHI: After a massive reaction on different platforms of social media over its call to partner with Airtel for Airtel Zero, e-commerce giant Flipkart has now walked out of the program. The decision from the e-commerce company comes after the increasing protests against net neutrality violation.
In a statement sent via an e-mail, Flipkart mentioned, “We will be walking away from the ongoing discussions with Airtel for their platform Airtel Zero. We will be committing ourselves to the larger cause of net neutrality in India.”
