In this talk, Dr. GV Ramanjaneyulu Talks about the need for sustainable agriculture. He starts off by talking about the effects bad governance can have on the people. Then moves on to the fact that the current agriculture system cannot survive for long if significant changes are not made. He also stresses the importance of organic farming. He ends the talk by educating us on how we can do our bit to improve the lives of the farmers. Dr GV Ramanjaneyulu is the Founder and Executive Director at the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture. Working on public policy issues impacting on food systems and farmer’s livelihoods and a framework to ensure income security for farmers. He is working with farmers in AP, Telangana, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh in establishing ecologically and economically sustainable agriculture models and is focused on building a Community marketing System ‘Sahaja Aharam’ linking farmer cooperatives directly to consumers.     Initially we need to change our living standards. At least we need to avoid eating at night. hat itself can have a huge impact on the volume of food need to be produced. that cash may be top up to have good organic breakfast and Lunch.
