For actual researched facts, CDN on this platform does a good job. I am off grid personally and I will bet thee whole Green Party here in NZ aren’t as low polluting as I am. Why in the UK where people constantly joke about a two day summer, would you use solar for generation? Co2 was far higher in the dinosaur eras and as far as I know, they didn’t use fossil fuels.

Geoff please don't talk about nuclear being better here then gas, oil, solar, wave and wind we can't afford any more here. Our country is too small to have a nuclear melt down as it one day will happen. Australia yes maybe stick them 1500 miles away in a desert that's ok but not here we would loose half the country mate

Great Idea! Put solar panels over car parks and when the EVs amongst the real cars under the solar roofing catch fire they will set everything ablaze. I think insurance companies would soon start to raise objections and any members of local government bodies passing such a scheme should be held personably liable for the damage caused.
The insane option is doing nothing. Just like you fossil fuelled dinosurs are advocating. Unbelievable.

As Jordan Peterson says, get the third world out of poverty, and their birth rate will drop. And the best way to get a country out of poverty? The opposite of net zero, i.e. abundant cheap energy, aka fossil fuels.
They will get everything onto renewable energy before starting to disclose how bad the renewable sources are for the planet. Then, we will be persuaded to not use any energy at all.
