One day, the Saudi Crown Prince is chilling, watching a sci-fi flick like 'Black Mirror,' you know, those futuristic cities with all the fancy gadgets and sleek designs. And then, bam! He decides, 'Why not build this for real?' Just like that, an architect's wildest dream becomes his next big project.

I don't want to raise any sand, excuse the pun, but is such extravagance condoned by the Koran? I mean, of the millions of Muslims living in poverty, building a project such as this, would be considered sinful?

I swear these countries saw Dubai and said we can do one better. Without realizing it took Dubai 30 years, and it has a ton of problems. This project gives, spoiled rich kid with nothing but yes men around. Having to approve his stupid fantasy and no one can talk logic to him. Since he pretty much kills anyone who tries to tell him. All that money he has thrown could have helped his country so much by now

Building a city in the middle of nowhere with no water, no logistics, no infrastructure, no transportation and designed to be an overcrowded bazaar with the estimated cost to be over $220,000 for each resident. On top of that its just a line. Can someone please give the Saudi royal family a copy of SimCity.
