    aren't soap nuts problematic?
like they come from a region where people use them because they grow there and are cheap, then westerners started buying them and now the people there can't afford them anymore and buy "regular" products?

Doesn't get to the point until 3 and a half minutes. When she got started she talked too damn much about herself and blabbering.

I have ADHD and constantly forget everything. My grocery bag hack to help me remember was to have 2 sets. One stays in the car and one in the house. When I carry in the groceries I bring my house set out to the car on my last trip. Then the ones I just carried in replace the house set once empty and cleaned.

It’s raining here today… I’m on school holidays (summer in Australia), perfect plan for today is to work my way through these videos. I was very very heavily into zero waste and veganism a few years ago and completely burned myself out. I want to get back to some level of balance with it as we have gone so far in the other direction. I love the work that you’re doing. I realise that now my kids are unsure about which package goes into which bin is not ok… but also me freaking out about them buying a drink in a plastic bottle when we were out together as a family was also not ok. Thank you for providing balanced advice.

Also.. I LOVED that you cried… it brought me back! <3

I recently started following you. 💖I have been recycling in my home for several years. I’m new to the zero waste movement. I have done some gradual changes with body and home care. I recently bought period underwear, however they are still in the package. Mostly because I’m pre-menopausal and I’m not regular. For instance I’m 40 days late and the last two Sundays I have seem one drop. I don’t think the underwear would help me track my flow. So I’ll swap to the cotton pads as you recommended. I also have a box of Who gives a crap toilet paper in the cart, so I will use your discount and give that TP a go. This was a very informative video and I appreciate how gentle and kind you are to the newbies. 🌱thank you🤗

I use both, mostly the bidet and 1-2 sheets to “dry” off. Also i took a small dawn dish bottle, washed it out and use that as my portable bidet. I definitely feel better using it during my period, I personally feel cleaner.

Bidet is the best life changer- and not to give TMI, but… my hubby has hair, and it caused problems especially in the heat, or in public places with thick tp, now no more issues. Love it. So men, this is the way to be super clean.

I am in the same bubble as your 16 year old self, I got called weird and still do to this day because I want to help the environment. That is actually why I stopped trying for a while but then I came across your channel and some other eco friendly people and it motivated me to start again. So thank you. And let's show them that they are the weird ones for not caring for our planet 🌏

I switched to a bidet + reusable toilet paper to dry off a few weeks ago, and I'm never going back! This is going to save me so much money, I'm never going to have to worry about running out of toilet paper because I forgot to pick some up at the market, and the environmental impact is insane. We use the equivalent of something like nearly 30k trees a year just to wipe our butts, and about 70% of the world doesn't even use toilet paper. It also saves a lot of water when you switch, not to mention the plastic packaging that toilet paper comes in most of the time. I get that it can be a difficult transition for a lot of people, but those numbers are definitely food for thought.

As a female I definitely use way more toilet paper than all the guys in my house so I have started using Toilet Unpapet by Marley’s monsters just for urine and still offer paper toilet paper for pooping. I’m asking for two bidets for Christmas and excited to incorporate toilet unpaper for pooping times too! Love what you are doing and keep up the amazing work! FYI we are not strange, they are! Love you, girl! -Janet from Alabama
